For most of our clients, we can fix their shower and bathroom leaks without having to remove any tiles. A standard SCR service generally takes only 2.5-3hrs and leaves your refreshed shower ready to use the very next day! This service is also available on: - double showers

 1. Plumbing
All SCR technicians carry a water pressure-testing device to determine if there are any plumbing faults within the shower breeching piece. If a plumbing issue is the cause of the shower leak, our technician will advise to have a qualified plumber rectify the problem before making arrangements to seal the area.
2. Grout
SCR will assess the existing wall and floor grout for deterioration, cracks and efflorescence. Unlike other companies, SCR grinds out and replaces the grout where required on ALL your shower walls and base using 4 kinds of waterproof additives unique to SCR. 3. Tiles
Any cracked tiles can be repaired using our specialised products or the tiles replaced as required. Your SCR technician will advise you on the best option for tiling at the time of assessment. If required, SCR can offer a full re-tile option. 4. Seals
All existing seals within the shower will be removed to ensure a clean product bond to the tile with the new seals. SCR technicians will apply new industrial waterproof polyurethane seals to all wall and floor junction joints within the shower recess- including vertical and horizontal hob and wall tile junctions. They can also apply epoxy seals and grout if required. 5. Screed
SCR technicians can apply new screed bases to an incorrectly falling or pooling shower base (or balcony). 6. Waterproofing Membrane
Where SCR is required to re-tile the shower base; we will apply at least two coats of high-quality waterproof membrane to the base before re-tiling. We will also apply waterproof fibre-cloth strips to the main junction joints and 100mm up the wall behind the riser tiles to ensure your shower or balcony is watertight. 7. Sealer
A clear waterproof penetrative sealant is applied to the entire tiled surface area of the shower or balcony. Flooding the tiled area with this sealant ensures the grout and any pores or fractures in your tiles are strengthen and sealed |
